Wilridge - 2016 Estate Melange Noir

The quirky Wilridge tasting room in Woodinville also sells pies! We pit-stopped to get pie, but discovered their wines were also great! This 2016 Melange Noir was great! I would be interested in the 2015 which is still apparently available.

Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Merlot.
Heavy black pepper nose. Light bodied, red cherries. Savory and earthy mushroom, thyme, green pepper. Smooth, light tannins, with a crisp finish. Easy drinking, and great with hard salty cheese.
