Walla Walla Vintners - 2018 Cut Bank Estate Vineyard Syrah

Initially wound up, but opened up after 45 minutes. Aromas of black pepper, touch of smoke, baking spice, and leather. A dense, bold, fruit forward Syrah offering juicy blueberries and marionberries. The midpalate is full and velvety, with focused blue fruit and black pepper and chewy tannins. The finish is long, with notes of leather and drying tannins.
