Kontos Cellars - 2018 Merlot

This was pretty closed off at first, and needed time to open up. Blackberries, blueberries and oak. Bold dark fruits, but dry and tannin forward with notes of graphite. Finish was dry and oaky. Overall a structured merlot with good muscle. Should pair nicely with some reasonably fatty dishes.
