Descendant Cellars - 2016 Les Collines Syrah

Les Collines Vineyard. Aromas of fresh cracked black pepper and forest floor. A monster Syrah velvety on the palate and focused with dense boysenberry, blackberry jam, and array of heat of white pepper. Background notes of smoked meat, espresso, dry oak and tobacco leaf offer a balanced skeleton. The finish is drawn out with sweet baking spice, licorice and leathery tannins. Absolutely awesome.
