Casasmith - 2020 Cervo Barbera

Beautiful ruby in the glass. Cherry, vanilla and faint soil on the nose. Vibrant red fruits, leather and oak. Moderately dry and tannic with bright with lively acidity. Likely great with tomato based food and charcuterie. However, wine is young, and high alcohol, needing breathing time. Serving slightly chilled makes a huge impact. Suspect will age well for a couple of years. Excellent value from costco around $15!
