Purple Cellars is focused on sharing the best Woodinville and Washington wines.  This is why most wines on the blog range between 90-100 pts.  That is, 90+ scores are worth drinking.  A 10 point scale should satisfy the average and discerned wine drinker.

Scores are based on the merit of the wine itself, considering factors such as quality, typicity, etc, without consideration of price.
