I was introduced to Tranche when I had their Syrah at Village Wines, Woodinville. It was solid, and I was compelled to seek them out on our Walla Walla trip.
Tranche Estate sits in the foothills of the Blue Mountains. The Blue Mountain Estate Vineyard provides for their flagship Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Syrah. It should be mentioned they also produce an amazing Pape Blanc by utilizing the very best of their Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, Marsanne, Viognier, Picpoul and Clairette Blanche harvest. Other sources include Celilo Vineyard (Columbia Gorge AVA) and Blackrock Vineyard (Yakima Valley AVA).
Notably, Laura and Michael Corliss are the owners of Tranche, which is a sister brand of Corliss.

We were introduced with a tasting of their 2019 Pape Blanc, and again, we aren't crazy about white wine, but this was great!

Tranche was stellar. It was definitely one of my favorites on our first trip to Walla Walla. They were straightforward, honest, single varietal, estate grown wines that you can't argue with. We ended up with a few bottles and signed up for their club.
