We stopped by Kiona during our Red Mountain tour on a hot day over the Memorial weekend. After a solid tasting, my picks are the 2021 Sangiovese, offering a delightful floral nose, good balance of strawberries, pomegranate, and pink peppercorn. The 2019 Malbec was solid as well, punchy, showing off dense Red Mountain fruit.
