Columbia Winery, Woodinville, WA (Sept 2022)

It's been long overdue since I've tried wine from the Columbia Winery. My earlier experiences with their wine was not too memorable, unfortunately.

Columbia Winery has a long history of winemaking, founded in the early 1960s. While being around for a long time could cause a winery to become stale, it also gives them experience and time to grow. After hearing about the amazing experience had by trustworthy colleague, we decided to give it a go.

The winery's tasting room is in the Hollywood district, just outside of all the chaotic round-a-bouts. Parking is ample.

The tasting room is spacious and welcoming. It opens up into a nice patio in the rear.

There is a cozy bar area where you're surrounded by a nice display of their portfolio, and this leads to the barrel room. (I'll need to investigate what it's like back there, we didn't have a chance)

We were blown away by the Columbia Winery. We joined their club that day! Their wines were solid, refined, with great depth and range. The price point to quality is extremely reasonable. The easy parking, large tasting room, ambience, and the available patio makes the tasting experience convenient and comfortable. This would be a great place to bring a good sized group to share a tasting experience. We highly recommend checking out the Columbia Winery!
