Callan Cellars - Tasting Aug 2023

I've been enjoying Callan for about the last two years. Winemaker Lisa Callan is relaxed and pleasantly down to earth, while crafting thoughtful and delicate wine. I had to grab a bottle of their 2018 Boushey Vinyeards Syrah, a stunning classic Washington Syrah, no gimmicks, totally awesome value. I have tasted and enjoyed their Picpoul in the past, so went on a limb with their 2022 Picpoul, sure to be a zippy addition to my summer wine bank. I got caught up chatting so notes are brief!
