I stopped by Barrage in May, to be pleasantly surprised by their 2021 Concrete Blonde Viognier. While a majority of their varietals are reds, I found this their strongest contender. Bouquet and stone fruit, dried nectarines. Nice mineral and mouthwatering acidity. $26.
Additionally, their 2021 Rose showed well - a Grenache, offering juicy, fleshy and full Rose showing soft white peaches, cantaloupe and notes of mint and white pepper $24.
Their 2016 Blacklisted Merlot is also a notable mention, offering a spicy and peppery version on the palate. $37.
